Las Fiestas de la Veguilla de Benavente,  declaradas de Inter\u00e9s Tur\u00edstico Regional,<\/span><\/a> son las <\/span>festivities held<\/strong> in <\/span>honor of the Virgen de la Vega. <\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

La celebraci\u00f3n se realiza <\/span>el lunes siguiente al lunes de Pascua <\/span>(lunes de aguas o lunes de Pascuilla en algunas localidades). <\/span>In this festival <\/strong><\/a>is done from decades ago tradicional petici\u00f3n del Toro Enmaromado, <\/strong>siendo este el Pr\u00f3logo o antesala de nuestras Fiestas del Toro Enmaromado,<\/a> las cu\u00e1les se celebrar\u00e1n 51 d\u00edas despu\u00e9s.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The source <\/a>de las Fiestas de la Veguilla de Benavente lo encontramos en una romer\u00eda para efectuar un voto a la Virgen, por lo que tuvo durante varios siglos un car\u00e1cter eminentemente religioso. <\/span>Sin embargo, contaba con otros aspectos m\u00e1s profanos como concentraciones populares (petici\u00f3n del toro enmaromado<\/a>),<\/span>distribuci\u00f3n de alimentos (<\/span>bread<\/a>), verbenas, <\/span> y otra serie de festejos que se fueron agregando y conformando con el paso de los a\u00f1os hasta dar forma a las fiestas actuales y sus principales actos:<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Bread of the Veguilla<\/span><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Small piece of\u00a0white bread about 250 grams with a hallmark<\/strong>\u00a0manufactured by the different\u00a0local bakeries<\/strong>.<\/p>

During the years of the post-war civil Spanish, the bread was delivered by social assistance. For distribution were prepared lists of the needy and gave them a voucher for the removal of the bread.\u00a0In the present time and for several decades, it is\u00a0<\/span>given to everyone who applies\u00a0<\/strong>until you deplete stocks.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
